" The purpose of training is
to tighten up the slack,
toughen the body
and polish the spirit."

UNDERWATER RESISTANCE TRAINING
" As a fitness athlete and freediver, these two worlds unite in my exercice routines leading me to discover new activities, becoming more aware of the importance and benefits of 'breathing' in my performance as an athlete.
These breathing techniques allow me to combine the exercises which I practice in the gym without impacting my joints.
When doing squats underwater, the water is 800+times denser than the air, so there is both resistance and support throughout the full range of motions of every movement.
This is also beneficial when simulating dives in open Ocean, the added pressure of being 10 to 15ft underwater creates a significant compressive force on your body's vascular and circulatory systems.
The best thing I really love about the #UWRT is that even though Im doing high intensity explosive movements with heavy weights, Im free of the typical post workout aches and pains."
